Direct printing with repeatable high definition décor

Representatives on the Teca-Print AG and Ruco, Druckfarben stands will be joined by their “exclusive” UK & Ireland distributors Kaye-Dee Marking Solutions. Machines to be presented on stand B63 include models from both the open and sealed ink pot systems. Pad Printing has the ability to mark on numerous shapes or profiles, materials and surface finishes with repeatable high definition décor and the versatility of this printing process is currently recognised throughout a wide range of manufacturing industries. New to the Teca-Print range is the TPX 100 edition cadrans for watch dials. There is probably no other industrial sector in which requirements for the printing quality are as high as in the watch industry. The pad printing industry has to meet these high quality demands and Teca-Print’s valuable experience has made it possible to develop a printing machine which fulfills the special demands of the watch industry. All the necessary options required on the pad printing machine are integrated into the TPX 100 cadrans edition which possesses fine adjustment for the pad position and extremely high printing accuracy. Also on show will be the “popular” TPE 100 open ink well system for small one colour printed images with 100 x 100mm plate size and the “cost-effective” TPE 251 with sealed ink pot & Transfer Carre with 350 x 220mm plate size, printing up to 4 colours. In addition the TPX 551 which is capable of printing up to 6 colours with a maximum plate size of 580 x 350 will be shown with the new “slewing tool fixture” . Peripheral devices include rotary tables, transfert carre indexing systems and electro-mechanical shuttles. Machines can be used a stand alone units or integrated into automated production lines.

Ruco inks include dedicated ranges for pad and screen printing, label printing, bottle/glass printing and CD manufacturers. Extraordinary decorations play a vital part in sales of consumer goods. Bottles are decorated by direct printing for the household area eg multi purpose cleaners, cosmetics industry and baby feeding bottles. The many different fields of application require special inks for pad, screen and UV screen and Kaye-Dee can provide inks for all substrates from one source. Ruco’s product highlights at K include high printing speeds with series 920UV inks even under extreme climate conditions; Brilliant Silver 110ZS which can be used an alternative to expensive embossing; Series 945UV printing inks which offer a high gloss level as well as high opacity and are outstanding for excellent flow and printability at machine speeds of approx 5000 pieces per hour. Standard colour ranges are available from Kaye-Dee and our on-site colour matching department can supply pre mixed inks to PMS references.
