MaxTen is made for screen printers who need to maintain the highest tension screens
whilst keeping the frame weight to a minimum. The frame section is made from a
special high tensile aluminium that is at least 40% stronger than standard aluminium.
The wall thickness and inner web strengthen the frames resistance to bowing and
maintaining flatness. The mesh surface has a slight slope to enable each mesh
adhesion without using weights. The inside edge of the mesh surface has a sharper
radius to minimise ink seepage, whilst the other three edges have a larger radius
to facilitate comfortable handling. The Maxten section is available in six sizes
from 50mm x 30mm up to 100mm x 50mm.
MaxTen Superslope is also made for screen printers who need to maintain the highest
tension screens whilst keeping the frame weight to a minimum. The frame section is
made from special high tensile aluminium that is at least 40% stronger than standard
aluminium. The wall thickness and inner web strengthen the frames resistance to bowing
and maintain flatness. The maxten Superslope has the other benefits of maxten sections
but features a larger inner slope for easier ink removal and also offers a slight weight
advantage. The MaxTen Superslope section is available in nine sizes from 45mm x
35mm x 40mm up to 115mm x 100mm x 50mm.
The standard frame box section is also made from special high tensile aluminium that is
at least 40% stronger than standard aluminium. The wall thickness ensures that these
light weight sections perform well for general screen printing applications. These
standard frame sections offer improved cost performance for printers who don’t require
the advantages of the maxten product. The range is manufactured in a range of wall
thickness from 1.6mm to 6.4mm. The standard section is available from a range of over
30 sizes from 10mm x 10mm up to 150mm x 50mm.
The High-Tech sections are made of a high tensile aluminium and are aimed principally
for use in the industrial sector for use on special machines developed for printed
circuit imaging. It is available in a range of sizes and with specific tooling to
suit industrial screen printing machines.
The CD frames range is manufactured using our laser profiling facilities and can be
supplied in high volumes. Angell Frames also offers a complete CD frames refurbishment
service utilising a purpose built sand blasting plant. These frames can be supplied to
meet the specifications of all CD printing machines.
For companies who require bespoke solutions, we can assist with the creation
of frames in aluminium, steel or wood. Whether using milling, welding or other
specialist fabrication techniques a new frame can be manufactured to answer
the most demanding of applications. Please contact us for more information

Deciding on the right frame section is a significant decision that will determine how well
the final screen performs. You may also require special fixings to be added to your frame
to fit your printing machines frame clamping set-up.
We can offer a full range of extras including pressed or welded inserts for Svecia
machines and registration fixings for flatbed textile printers. Please ask for any
specific fixings you may require.
There are occasions when there is a need for a new extrusion or channel to be
manufactured. You may be trying to print on a three dimensional object that
has restricted access or you may wish to use a frame that is coated in a
special finish such as powder coating. Whatever your interest or however
strange your request please ask and we will endeavour to create a cost
effective solution.
We also supply stainless steel and aluminium coating troughs and squeegee handles.
