As a company which operates world-wide, FOBA develops, manufactures and
markets products for laser marking and engraving. Thanks to its consistent
and on-going concentration on sophisticated fields of application, FOBA
and its superior systems have succeeded in climbing to the technical
peak of the field.

Basic Systems:
For integration into manufacturing lines or customised solutions we offer
Nd:YAG basic modules, diode-pumped and lamp-pumped, in a power 
range from 9 to 100 W, as well as CO Vector lasers with 30 W.

All basic systems feature a new real-time processing laser control,
based on modern RISC-Power-PCs, in connection with an integrated,
modular-designed cPCI- PC. This yields to shorter marking times
and hence higher productivity.
Marking Systems:
For stand alone operation in laser class we offer turn-key laser marking
units as manual work station or customised solutions. Laser marking
systems of the Vario series are modular designed and can be equipped
according to your requirements with different working areas. Starting
from a pneumatic lifting door to a rotating table with a turning 
bulk headwall or a customer-specific special machine.
Engraving Machines:
Our G-series provides tool and mould makers with an alternative and
supplement to EDM for economic processing of fine contours in a 
single working cycle.

All tool steels and ceramics, without any hardness restriction, can be
machined with a standard high quality of surface roughness.

Our new generation of laser engraving machines combines over ten years 
of know-how in laser engraving with a state-of-the-art machine tool.
IMP Marking:
The IMP software has many great features that will enable the user to 
increase product throughput. The add array feature permits the marking
of several parts on a tray. For applications such as day/night marking,
product throughput can improve by over 200% by utilising IMP and 
increasing their number of parts/tray from 4 to 50.
